As only 7 candidates were nominated for the 8 available seats, the election for Clive Parish Council is uncontested and therefore all candidates are duly re-elected. See Notice of uncontested election - Clive parish. All existing Parish Councillors will stand down on 6th May and everyone who has been re-elected will take up their seats and form the new Council on the same day.

The election for the Shropshire Council seat for Shawbury division is contested, so there will still be an election in Clive on May 1st. Find out more on our dedicated Local elections webpage.
