Casual vacancy - application deadline extended to 16.03.2025

**Update: 27.02.2025: The deadline for receiving applications for joining the Parish Council has been extended to 9pm on Sun 16th March 2025.**

Sadly Cllr Paul Hewitt has decided to step down from the Council to focus on other commitments, which means there is now a casual vacancy on the Council. View the casual vacancy notice here. We would like to say a very sincere thank you to Paul for all his hard work and dedication to the local community during his time on the Council, and we wish him all the very best for the future!

As we have less than 6 months before the next ordinary local elections (May 2025), there is no requirement for a by-election, so the Parish Council may fill this seat by co-option after the 14-day notice period (ending midnight on 29th January 2025).

View co-option advert here.

If you would like to know more about being a Councillor, please check out the Good Councillors Guide, and feel free to have an informal chat with any of the Councillors or the Clerk. Application forms are available to download here, and completed forms should be emailed directly to the Clerk before the deadline of 9pm on Sun 16th March. All eligible applications will be considered at the March Council meeting
